Supporting Our Troops
Members of VFW Post 5815 and its Ladies Auxiliary have an ongoing program of supporting the men and women on active duty in the military service.
We periodically have collections of items to ship to the troops through the Village of Lombard, schools, and other organizations and individuals.
Our ongoing need is for the names and full mailing addresses of men and women serving in the military overseas. Packages must be shipped to specific individuals.
Please contact VFW Post 5815 by email at VFW5815@aol.com with the full name, rank, and mailing address of members of our armed forces who would enjoy receiving one or more packages from Americans who appreciate their service to our country. Please include any special requests, an estimate of how long the individual will be at the same address, and, if possible, a telephone number where someone can be reached if we have any questions.
